Enotes And the Word was God (John 1:1) |
To be
inclusive is
to recognize the oneness in life
unity of God
commonality of humanity
each unique
each an expression of the One
To love and
embrace people
whose behaviors and attitudes I hate
to welcome the darkness
within me
To accept
that sometimes you are right,
or 2/3's right
And I am wrong or mostly wrong
To respect your right and
own my wrong
and sometimes
the opposite is true
Always you
and I are
fully human and
unique expressions
of God
My power
doesn't make me right and
your weakness
doesn't make you wrong
Inclusion
is justice
with human faces and
hues of skin and
other cultures
and languages
Inclusion
is faith
at the core of each of us
lives God
May the
Word live in you in day! Thanks for continuing to bless me as we journey
together.
