To be inclusive
to
recognize
oneness
in life
unity
of God
commonality
of humanity
each
unique
each
an expression of
the
One
To love and embrace
people
whose behaviors and
attitudes I hate
to
welcome the darkness
within
me
Sometimes you are
right,
or
2/3's right
And
I am wrong or
mostly
wrong
let
me respect
your
right and
own
my wrong
and
sometimes
the
opposite is true
Always
you
and I are
fully
human and
unique
expressions
of
God
My power
doesn't
make
me
right and
your
weakness
doesn't
make
you
wrong
Inclusion is justice
with
human faces and
hues
of skin and
other
cultures
and
languages
Inclusion is faith
at
the core of
each
of us
lives
God
I believe that God is
radically inclusive: here and now and also eternally. The Bible supports this
belief, though it also supports the view of judgment and eternal separation
from God. This creates a tension in which we who follow Jesus must live, and
perhaps a choice we must make-is God's justice a legalistic one with eternal
punishment or is God's justice an inclusive one that assures everyone has a
place at the table?
Thanks for continuing
to bless me as we journey together.
